A day in the park - Take 3

Another fun day in Duluth. We headed out at 9.30 for Gooseberry Falls and hiked up to the top of the Falls. After splasing around in the water, we then drove to Split Rock Lighthouse. We watched a 25 minute movie on lighthouses in the early 20th century and then hiked up to the lighthouse. By then it was past 3pm and we were all starving so we picked up lunch to go and drove to 2 Harbors lighthouse for a picnic in the park. Then off to the legendary Portland malt Shoppe in downtown Duluth.

We plan to watch another movie tonite and then go to bed soon cos we have a long drive ahead of us tomorrow to Sault St. Marie.
