Leg 10 - Sioux Falls to Duluth/Red to Blue

Nothing much to report today. We left Sioux Falls at 10am and drove straight thru to Duluth except for a short lunch break. The scenery was similar to South Dakota, only there were many farms and grian silos along the way. We could tell we were in a "blue" state cos suddenly there were no more billboard signs with sayings like "I am a child, not a choice" and "Your mother was pro-life". Also Minnesota is known for its very progressive environmental philosophy which is apparent is the numerous windmills we saw along the way and the recycling bins along the highway and at every rest area.

We got into Duluth at 5pm. Rajiv(my cousin) and his wife Jerrie, were away at a reception so we were entertained by their 3 kids Neil(12), Sheila(7) and Jay(5). Cute cute kids, shall post pics of then tomorrow.

Travel Tip: When you check into a motel/inn, always check the room alarm clock to make sure the time is set right. Some people may tend to set the clock ahead and you may ot realize it. Can you tell we learned the hard way....?

Starbucks sightings - 3 in Duluth and many along the way!!!

Accomodation rating: Baymont Inn at Sioux Falls - 3 out of 5. Room was decent but lousy breakfast!
